What We Do
Our Mission is to improve the quality of life for individuals who are disadvantaged, persons with disabilities and those in need of supports, by providing health and other services which assist each person to reach his or her potential for a life of dignity and independence. Chrysalis Center, Inc., began in the mid-1950's as a small, grassroots organization to support individuals suffering from severe and prolonged mental illness. Since our incorporation in 1975, we have expanded our mission to assist individuals and families struggling with HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, homelessness, poverty, and co-occurring psychiatric disabilities. Chrysalis Center is CARF (the Rehabilitation Accreditation Commission) accredited at the highest level of excellence for Community Case Management Services, Community Employment Services and Community Based Rehabilitation Services.
