United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and its partners invite you to spend an hour one day per week reading with a student as part of the United Way Volunteer Readers Program. Currently the program operates at schools in Hartford, New Britain, Enfield, and Windham.
If you are interested in signing up to be a United Way Reader browse the opportunities below! You can also e-mail questions to firstname.lastname@example.org. When you are ready to commit to reading weekly, simply click the sign up button and complete your registration!
Over 150 people signed up as United Way Readers last spring. Thank you to all our volunteers! By carving out an hour consistently each week volunteer readers are part of the solution. To hear from program volunteers click here!
